Jonathan, Adrienne, and started my last full day in Japan at the Imperial Palace.
We then made our way to Tokyo Tower, a smaller version of Tokyo Sky Tree.
That night we went out with Adrienne's coworkers to celebrate one of their birthdays. We ate at a Korean restaurant (how ironic) and headed over to Golden Gai, basically a village of small bars. There were rows and rows of closet sized bars to sit in a share a drink or two. We ended up in a bar with a Filipino bartender. She had a karaoke machine, so we sang "Don't Stop Believing!" It was an absolutely appropriate way to end our Tokyo trip..
As the night ended, I realized that I would be leaving for India within the following four hours. Journey on.
