Nahargarh Fort

Elephants walking the streets of Jaipur.

Nahargarh Fort was once a defense ring around the pink city of Jaipur. People can still visit the ruins on the edge of the Aravalli Hills. Alexis and I went on our second day in Jaipur. On the drive up, we stopped to take some pictures

At Nahargarh, we went into the old buildings.

Details on the wall

Then we walked toward the edge of the mountain, where we could see past the wall.

We could hear the sounds of the city through the window, like a seashell.

The view was literally breathtaking.

The city just stretched on for forever.
