Tokyo | Day 4: Sensoji Temple and Akihabara

Day four started with a well deserved sleep in after two full days at the Disney Parks.  Then Jonathan and I had lunch at a tonkatsu restaurant.

Afterwards we went to Asakusa to see Sensoji Temple.

Details in the roof.

???

For 100 yen, you could get a fortune. First, you shake a canister until a stick falls out.
Match the number on your stick with a drawer and then get your fortune.

Jonathan and I stayed in Asakusa until dusk, perusing through the shops and waiting for the temple to light up.

This pastry had mung bean on the inside.

This was coated in some peanut confectionery.

Finally we went to Akihabara, the elctronic district. We went to a store called Super Potato which sold old school nitendo and sega games.

On the third floor they had an old school arcade.

We spent the rest of the night perusing through the rest of the district, walking through different anime shops and playing the high tech video games
