Qutub Minar, Indira Gandhi Museum, and Dilli Haat

The second day in Delhi, Alexis and I went to Qutab Minar, the Indra Ghandi Museum, and Dilli Haat.

Qutab Minar is a monument tower made of red sandstone and marble, covered with intricate carvings of the Quran. It is surrounded by other structures and ancient ruins, including colleges, tombs, and college/tombs. Alexis and I spent a while exploring the area.

Alexis is a pillar.

I'm an airplane.

Our next stop was the Indira Gandhi Museum. The museum was actually the house that Indira Gandhi and her family lived in.  It was also the location of her assassination. Throughout the building there were pictures, letter, and journal entries from her own private collection.

Picture from Gandhi's childhood.

Lastly we went to Dilli Haat, an open air market and food court.  Here, vendors from all over India come to sell their goods and crafts.
