Colva Beach

Our first destination in Goa was Colva.  We were staying with a local couple through airbnb.  Their home was a short 10 minute walk to Colva Beach. Alexis and I had no idea that India had places like this. We were living the beach life for sure.

Goa was much warmer than in Delhi and Jaipur (even more so than Korea and Japan), so we ditched our jackets and thermals for some beach clothes!

BOOM

There is no shortage of well priced clothing and souvenirs on the beaches of Goa.

All along the beach are pop up shacks (they are taken away during the monsoon season), that serve the freshest of seafood.

After we ate this, we ordered ANOTHER ONE.

The sun-kissed beaches and the serene blue seas are only part of the Goan fable. Walk through the meandering lanes and you’ll see a vibrant way of life, colourful and carefree in its nature.
