We did do a whole lot of eating when we were in San Diego. Here is a collection of some of our favorite places.

The plates at Hash House A Go Go are as big as a baby. We had brunch here and ordered the butterscotch almond pancake upon our servers recommendation. We couldn't finish this and, in fact were eating this days later.
Pappalecco is SD's #1 gelato spot. This place was decorated for the holidays and it was super CUTE! So many red bows hanging from the ceiling made the store whimsical and picturesque. I got the coffee and nutella flavors and devoured them BOTH. On a full stomach.
Andrew's sister (having lived in SD for years) recommended Cucina Urbana for a nice sit down dinner. It was a very beautiful Italian restaurant, but definitely wasn't our favorite. The best dish of the night was the appetizer of fried octopus, avocado, and broccoli.
And of course, what is a trip to San Diego without a stop by Oscar's. Surf and turf tacos and burritos, what's not to love.
