PASAJE RODRIQUEZ

We began the day on Avenue Revolution, the main tourist street in Tijuana.  The morning was quiet.  Most of the bars, restaurants, and shops were still waking up at 11AM.

Our original intent was to eat a Cesar Salad at the hotel it was invented at.  This meal was very hyped up by Fernanda and her Italian husband, so we were sad to see the resturant closed until noon.  We didn't get a salad, but we did get a photo.

Then we headed to Pasaje Rodriguez, a narrow alley off shooting the main road.  A few years ago a grassroots effort brought artist and shop-owners together to bring new life to Tijuana's main drag.  Now the pasaje is home to a couple art cafes, Mamut microbrewery, several boutique shops and tons of murals. This alley was more proof of the blooming arts and culture scene that is in it's infancy stages here!
