TELEFONICA GASTRO PARK

Tijuana was known as a town for college spring breakers and underage drinking. Then the drug violence came.  And in the wake of Tijuana's healing, there is an uprising scene of culture and arts which makes me believe than in 5-10 years Tijuana will be a huge travel destination. Navigating the city was not always the easiest, but the effort was always met with surprisingly cool results.  Like this night.

After a much needed afternoon nap, we went out for food at Telefonica Gastro Park. The unassuming store front contained the most glorious of food park havens I've ever been too.  There was world class food, craft beers, and a super hip layout for seating.  We could have hung out there all night.

We ate raw fish tostadas, octopus tacos, and sausage from Humo's. All of which were paired perfectly with a bottle of Roca Partida, a brown ale made in collaboration with Cerveceria Insurgente, Baja Brewing, Ballast Point, and Rise &Win.  SO GOOD.
