By this point in our vacation we were pooped, so when we read that Waipio Valley Lookout was "minimal physical effort and maximum gorgeous views." We knew this was the perfect next destination for the day.

We opted out of hiking down into the valley itself. Instead we drove to the nearby Tex Drive In in Honokaa which were boasted to have the best malassadas on the island.
