We drove back to Hilo to spend our last full night on the island. We decided to splurge for our last evening and we were lucky enough to book The Lohi Apartment through airbnb. Megan, the owner, has created a stunning, peaceful oasis in the midst of Downtown Hilo.
Everything in Downtown Hilo was walking distance to our airbnb, so after settling in for a bit we walked to Big Island Booch, a kombucha bar. All their Kombucha and Jun are handcrafted in Hilo with all organic ingredients. And they make some far-out recipes!

That night we decided to stay in our lovely room and have dinner in bed while watching Batman vs. Superman. So we went to the local KTA and bought exactly what we were craving for.
