Bemosa Hike

Britney, Eric, Benny, and I went on a hike from Beomosa Temple to the base of Geumjeongsan. This was the loveliest hike I've been on yet.

We started the day taking the subway to Beomosa Temple.

Details in the paint.

Details in the walls.

Things are really coming full circle, as Beomosa was one the first temples I ever visited here in Korea. I even did my templestay here. This is picture of a temple hall they were building back in December

This is the same temple hall now.

The four of us started at the trail head at the edge of the temple.  We walked up and over the mountain, where it became a more level path. We were walking along the ridge and could see views from both sides.

Me, Eric, Brittney, and Benny.

New trail/travel shoes!

The path along the ridge.

There was a woman selling ice cream at the top!
Genius! And how did she get those up here?!

We stopped on a big rock to eat lunch.
You know, just eating kimbap on a boulder.

Anyway, it was a gorgeous day.
