Temescal is where I had blind dates and family dates and lady dates. It's where I found the pieces that decorate my walls and books. It is where he took me to eat when I finally came back home home home to Oakland.

Andrew and I took a stroll along Telegraph and Temescal. The area has changed so much in the short years I've lived in Oakland. I got to show him my favorite store of all:
The East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse. Then we headed one block over to get lunch at
Burma Superstar and dessert at
Tara's.

Always something to find at the East Bay Depot |
Best salad. Tea Leaf at Burma Superstar. |
Best sorbet. Chamomile at Tara's Ice Cream. |
Crimson, plant nursery and goods for the home/body. Those shelves tho... |
It really is. |
At Esquileto. Beautiful and unique jewelry pieces. |
At Sagrada, a sacred store. Not in Temescally Alley but close by and worth mentioning! |
